The apartment is located on the top floor of a Milanese corner building completed in the 1930’s. Overlooking two streets and the communal courtyard, the house is characterized by a diffused natural light coming from multiple windows that emphasize the movement of sun throughout the day.
The color chosen for the walls and the ceiling is a greenish white which, in reflecting and filtering the light, creates unexpected atmospheres and color shades that change continuously on the architectural volumes.
Conceived for a musician the apartment has been designed considering sound as a fluid element responding to surfaces and materials. Therefore the idea was to let the music itself be the element “assembling” the different areas of the house.
