The S.Pot project cares for the whole cycle of “Ollare stone” which comes from a quarry in the North of Italy. The
craft behind it is as ancient and precious as the material itself. Alberto Gaggi is one of the very few people with the knowledge and a workshop to keep this ancient tradition alive.

Left over stone pieces turned by hand and finished with the Bata Kumbala technique. Each piece takes a different shade of brown according to the minerals in the piece of stone and the degrees reached during the firing.
