It’s hard to imagine but felt is much closer to clay than it is to cotton or any other textile. In fact, felt is a three-dimensional material: the wool fibers in contact with the heat shrink and take any desired shape.It can be soft and thin as a textile or hard, thick and compact as earth. 
The art of making felt is assuredly older then the art of spinning and weaving. It’s said to be the oldest man-made material: its story goes back 8.000 years. 

The feel felt project is a collaboration with Feltrificio Biellese and wants to rediscover the old-fashioned characteristics of felt in synergy with the most modern manufacturing technologies.
